Guest Design projects for Creative Cuts and More

Had a WONDERFUL time doing some projects with diecuts from Creative Cuts and More. They have so many wonderful diecuts that are SO fun! Here are the projects I did in addition to my snow banner for the blog hop.

There is a fall wall hanging that uses these Pumpkin diecuts and some lovely Maple leaves too!

Here is an angel made from this bell box.

I used pattern paper, corregated cardboard and Making Memories words from the I Am A ScrapaholicDecember kit.

I also did a very simple card from a Window card and a snowflake, which I covered with vintage music and glitter.

Thanks for stopping by and have a VERY MERRY AND BLESSED CHRISTMAS!!!

CC&M Holiday Blog Hop! WELCOME! :)

Hi blog hoppers! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Aren't we having a great time? and weren't Holly's projects fabulous? (If you didn't arrive here from Holly's blog, you don't want to miss what our designers have in store for you! The CC&M Holiday blog Hop starts HERE

worry, HOP back over to Die Cut Diva where the complete list will be.

For the Holiday blog hop I made a "Let it Snow" banner! It WON'T snow here, so this is as close as we get to snow flakes for the holidays. ;) I used one Large snowflake and 4 medium snowflakes in chipboard. I covered them with vintage music and then clear Martha Stewart glitter. I decided to set them off with a backing of crepe paper medallions. :)

As part of our celebration, CC&M will be having a great sale. For the next four days, we will offer 15% off the entire store. But act quickly, this sale will end on November 15th! (Sunday) Make sure you enter this code ccholidaybloghop1109 during checkout.

Lovin' me some GRUNGEBOARD

This is the first time I've had the opportunity to try some Tim Holtz Grungeboard. SOOOOOO FUN! I want MORE, MORE, MORE!!! In addition to the butterfly on a layout on my previous post, I made this flower and also the butterflies on this layout.

I made this cute little box out of a 6x6" piece of cardstock. Couldn't be EASIER, and isn't it CUTE?!?!?!! I left it plain this time, but plan to make more and decorate the outside panels! You could make them to suit any theme! Add a few pieces of candy and it would be very SWEET! ;)

I took the 6x6" piece of cardstock and folded each edge at 2", then folded the corners in half diagonally. I then pulled the corners in towards the middle. I punched a small hole on each edge with my crop-a-dile and tied then loosely together with black cord from the IAAS Oct. kit. I adhered the grungeboard flower with Ranger Glossy accents.

Here's a top view:

and a close up of my flower:

You can find a tutorial for this flower here on the amazing Wendy Vecchi'sblog. Aren't they fab?

Here is one more layout from Oct's IAAS kit. It has 2 grungeboard butterflies on it. I'll tell you a secret... my punches didn't work on the grungeboard, but I wanted a little Martha Stewart butterfly, so I turned the punch upside down and traced it on the grungeboard, and then cut it out! :)I painted the bird with Ranger Perfect Pearls. This is my fav layout this month... if I do say so myself!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

IAAS October

October'sI Am A Scrapaholickit was SUPER YUUUUUUMMY! Right up my alley! Here are my projects:

In this layout, I wanted to feature the Tim Holtz mini mask. It's spritzed with Maya mist.

I used the IAAS kit for my My Sketch World October card, so this is based on a Lucy Chesna sketch.

Here is a layout using a Tim Holtz game spinner as my butterfly body and antennae.

The flower is from a Jeni B video tutorial, and I have to say I'm going to be making more of these, for sure! Isn't it FAB???

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Experiencing Technical Difficulties!!!

I do not enjoy days of being reminded exactly how MUCH I rely on the internet! Did I get alot of scrapping done? Well, YES, but to the detriment of anything online that I usually do! Our modem is post mortem. ;) I am sitting (sweating, fingers sliding off the keys...) at a house we watch in the summer. Swimming in their pool is one thing, but trying to use the internet is another! But, we'll be back up to normal... tomorrow! SHEW! and if THAT were not enough, my camera seems to have "an issue"... not a life threatening one, but either there's something on the lens (which I don't know how, as we are all usually very careful) or the FL humidity was too much for it today. Either way, my pics aren't what I would like them to be! Anyhoo... I had some things to take care of online that were time sensitive, so I thought I'd pop in here for a minute as well. So, what WAS I was doing today???

A little of this:

Just me and some super yummy Bo Bunny... hanging around the house! (with 4 kids... ;) )
