For the Holiday blog hop I made a "Let it Snow" banner! It WON'T snow here, so this is as close as we get to snow flakes for the holidays. ;) I used one Large snowflake and 4 medium snowflakes in chipboard. I covered them with vintage music and then clear Martha Stewart glitter. I decided to set them off with a backing of crepe paper medallions. :)

Lovin' me some GRUNGEBOARD

This is the first time I've had the opportunity to try some Tim Holtz Grungeboard. SOOOOOO FUN! I want MORE, MORE, MORE!!! In addition to the butterfly on a layout on my previous post, I made this flower and also the butterflies on this layout.

I made this cute little box out of a 6x6" piece of cardstock. Couldn't be EASIER, and isn't it CUTE?!?!?!! I left it plain this time, but plan to make more and decorate the outside panels! You could make them to suit any theme! Add a few pieces of candy and it would be very SWEET! ;)

I took the 6x6" piece of cardstock and folded each edge at 2", then folded the corners in half diagonally. I then pulled the corners in towards the middle. I punched a small hole on each edge with my crop-a-dile and tied then loosely together with black cord from the IAAS Oct. kit. I adhered the grungeboard flower with Ranger Glossy accents.

Here's a top view:

and a close up of my flower:

You can find a tutorial for this flower here on the amazing Wendy Vecchi'sblog. Aren't they fab?

Here is one more layout from Oct's IAAS kit. It has 2 grungeboard butterflies on it. I'll tell you a secret... my punches didn't work on the grungeboard, but I wanted a little Martha Stewart butterfly, so I turned the punch upside down and traced it on the grungeboard, and then cut it out! :)I painted the bird with Ranger Perfect Pearls. This is my fav layout this month... if I do say so myself!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

IAAS October

October'sI Am A Scrapaholickit was SUPER YUUUUUUMMY! Right up my alley! Here are my projects:

In this layout, I wanted to feature the Tim Holtz mini mask. It's spritzed with Maya mist.

I used the IAAS kit for my My Sketch World October card, so this is based on a Lucy Chesna sketch.

Here is a layout using a Tim Holtz game spinner as my butterfly body and antennae.

The flower is from a Jeni B video tutorial, and I have to say I'm going to be making more of these, for sure! Isn't it FAB???

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
