Creative Cuts and More Valentine's Blog Hop

If you got here from Noelle's blog, weren't her cards FABULOUS?! If you did not come from Noelle's blog, don't miss a thing today, be sure and start at The Die Cut Diva blog.If for some reason one of the links is broken along the Hop do not worry, HOP back over to Die Cut Diva where the complete list will be.

Here is my project:

First, let me say that the incredibly ADORABLE models are my 1 yo twin nieces. Are they cute or what?!?!!!

My project might not seem particularly Valentine-ish, but the rose is actually made from 18 hearts! Clever, eh? ;) I would have done a tutorial, but many have been done, so instead, HERE is one to check out.

You can use 7 of THESE MINI HEARTS, just use 4 as is and cut 3 of them slightly smaller. Then use 11 of THESE SMALL HEARTS, using 6 as is and 5 cut a bit smaller. :)

The base of my double frame are two of THESE frames. I painted them white and then spritzed with Maya mist in Red. I made picture slots on the back with scrap chipboard attached with Killer Red Tacky Tape. I then cut an additional piece of chipboard (as long as the frame... top to bottom... and about 1" wide), folded it in half and attached one half to each of the frames, to keep them together, again, using the Killer Red Tacky tape. Gotta love that stuff! and Creative Cuts and More has VERY large rolls at a VERY great price! So, check it out!
